Tension
Do not pull pipe tight during installation. This will
restrict movement during expansion and
contraction.
Expansion
The expansion rate for our pipe is roughly 1.4mm
per 1°C temperature change for every 10m of pipe.
Allow for expansion based on this value. Pipes
must not be anchored rigidly or pulled tight
between fixed points.
Testing
Once you’re done, the install must be pressure
tested, as per supplier specification sheet
available at tradepex.com.au. When testing an
existing installation, cap the addition and test it
independently (as existing pipework and fixtures
may be damaged by the high pressure).

Fit-outs beyond the inlet stop valve or within
1m of the water heater outlet

AS/NZS3500 are observed
