Tradelink Coronavirus Update: Australia-Wide
A message to our customers
Tradelink branches remain open and trading; as an essential service, we know it’s critical that you have access to plumbing supplies, and we’ll continue to follow the government and public health advice to ensure your safety when visiting our branches.
As we continue to navigate this current wave of COVID-19, we ask customers and visitors to our branches to follow the established COVID-safe practices whilst on our premises.
Signage will be clearly displayed at the entry point requesting customers scan in using the relevant state check-in app.
To ensure we can continue to trade safely there are COVID-Safe business practices in place, these include:
As the situation continues to evolve, some branches may be impacted with temporary closures where team members are required to isolate. Where possible, if your local Tradelink branch is affected, we’ll reach out directly via SMS. Please continue to check this site for the most up-to-date information. If in doubt, call ahead to your local store before visiting.

Tradelink Coronavirus Update: New South Wales
As COVID restrictions ease in New South Wales, Tradelink continues to follow the government and public health advice to ensure the safety of our teams and customers.In line with the steps in the state roadmap, we ask customers and visitors to our stores to follow the established COVID-safe practices whilst on our premises.

What you need to know
Following the announcement by the state government, from 5.00pm Thursday 12 August 2021 ACT will enter a seven- day lockdown to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Tradelink will be taking additional measures to ensure we remain open and trading in all ACT branches to support you as an essential service.
Our branches remain accessible to essential workers via one entry and exit point.
Masks remain mandatory
You must wear a fitted face mask in ACT (indoors and outdoors) where you cannot socially distance.

Tradelink Coronavirus Update: Cairns and Yarrabah Communities, Queensland
Following the announcement by the state government, from 4.00pm Sunday 8 August 2021, Cairns and Yarrabah communities will enter a three-day lockdown ending 11 August at 4pm to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Tradelink will be taking additional measures to ensure we remain open and trading in all Cairns branches to support you as an essential service. The below branches will be impacted;

Following the announcement by the state government, from 5.00pm Thursday 5 August 2021 restrictions have changed in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley local government areas, which will enter a 7- day lockdown to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Tradelink will be taking additional measures to ensure we remain open and trading in all New South Wales branches within the impacted local government areas to support you as an essential service. Those LGA’s where Tradelink branches remain open include:

Following the announcement by the South Australian government as of 20 July 2021, South Australia is currently at level 5 restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Tradelink will be taking additional measures to ensure we can continue to remain open and trading to support you as an essential service. This includes our Greenacre, Padstow, Prestons and Villawood branches in the Fairfield, Canterbury Bankstown and Liverpool LGA’s.

Following yesterday’s announcement by the Victorian government, from 11:59pm Thursday 15 July restrictions across Victoria have changed to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Tradelink will be taking additional measures to ensure we can continue to remain open and trading to support you as an essential service. Our branches remain accessible only to essential workers via one entry and exit point.
You must wear a fitted face mask in Victoria when;
If you are indoors or outdoors alone and can physically social distance, you do not need to wear a face mask.
In line with Government guidelines, you are still required to register your visit to Tradelink Trade Branches using the Governments QR code tracer app. We will have QR codes printed out and accessible throughout our stores for you to use, hands-free. QUEENSLAND UPDATE: 29 JUNE 2021
South- East Queensland (Townsville, Palm Island, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim, Gold Coast)
Following today’s announcement by the QLD Government, impacted branches in the greater Queensland region have implemented additional restrictions as we enter a three-day lockdown, effective 6pm Tuesday 29th June (to be reviewed Friday 2nd Jul).
Tradelink branches remain open and will continue trading as an essential service.
You must wear a fitted face mask in impacted branches in South – East Queensland.
In line with Government guidelines, you are still required to register your visit to Tradelink Trade Branches using the Governments QR code tracer app. We will have QR codes printed and accessible throughout our stores for you to use, hands-free. Be sure to save your details in the app for a quicker check – in!

Following Monday’s announcement by the WA Government, impacted branches in the Perth and Peel regions are to enter a four-day lockdown, effective 12.01am Tuesday 29th June and ending 12.01am Saturday 3rd July.
You must wear a fitted face mask in impacted branches in Perth and Peel regions.
All impacted branches now operate with only one point of entry, and the WA safe app check QR Code will be found here.
NORTHERN TERRITORY: 29 JUNE 2021
Greater Darwin Area lockdown (Darwin, Palmerston and Litchfield Council areas, and Wagait and Belyuen Shires)
Following Monday’s announcement by the NT Government, impacted branches in the Greater Darwin Areas are to enter an extended lockdown period for a further 72 hours until 1pm on Friday 2 July 2021.
You must wear a fitted face mask in impacted branches in the Greater Darwin area.

Tradelink Coronavirus Updates: Metro and Regional Victoria
Government and lockdown restrictions across metro-Melbourne will ease from 11.59 pm 10th June, however a raft of restrictions will remain in place. Our trade branches will continue to stay open to support the essential work you do.

Metro – what you need to know
Government restrictions across metro-Melbourne have been extended and will remain in place for a further seven days (3 June – 9 June). During this time our trade branches will continue to stay open to support the essential work you do. Like last week, construction and outdoor work can continue. This includes any work required to support the safety and wellbeing of our communities.

Regional – what you need to know
From 4th June, Government restrictions across regional Victoria will ease – our stores will remain open as per usual, supporting the essential work you do.

Tradelink Coronavirus Updates: Western Australia
As per Western Australian Government updates provided yesterday, all non – essential construction and maintenance work must be halted. However essential maintenance jobs that need immediate action can be carried out.
Under the directions of the Western Australian Government, all Tradelink branches will remain open and ready to service our customers. Our showroom entrances will be closed as only one point of entry and access will be accessible so that we can implement the COVID Safe practices put in place. These include;
