Tradies in the Brisbane and Darwin areas, have we got news for you! Following our recent branch openings in West Gosford and Sale, we’ve opened another two new branches as part of our bold network upgrade and expansion strategy.
The new branches – located at Wynnum in the East Brisbane area in Queensland and Coconut Grove in the northern suburbs of Darwin in the Northern Territory – will offer their local plumbing and building communities quality plumbing supplies from leading brands, along with Tradelink’s ‘true blue’ customer service.
Tradelink’s General Manager, Tim Broxham said that the new branches are another great example of how we’re identifying opportunities to continue improving our service offering to tradies by positioning branches in convenient locations.
“We know that plumbers prefer not to travel more than 15 minutes from a job to get parts, so no matter where our customers are working, we want to make sure that there is a Tradelink branch nearby,” said Tradelink’s General Manager, Tim Broxham.
“We have engaged with our local branch network to understand where the gaps are. Then we put a dot on the map and effectively fill that gap.”
Heading up the Wynnum branch is Julie Fensom who has over seven years’ experience in the plumbing industry, including five years with Tradelink as Assistant Manager of the Camp Hill branch. Julie and the Wynnum team all come from the local area, so you know you’ll be in good hands.
“There are plenty of maintenance and residential plumbers working in the East Brisbane area and we saw Wynnum as a great opportunity to fill the gap in our network and support the local trade community,” said Regional Manager, John McLachlan.
The branch is conveniently located at 16 Mungala Street, close to the busy Wynnum and Tingal Roads with plenty of onsite parking, making it easy for tradies to get in and out and back to site. The branch also features a broad range of quality bathroom, kitchen and laundry products from leading brands including Tradelink exclusives TradePex and Viega.
The Coconut Grove branch is headed up by Bryce Heinrich, who has been with Tradelink for three years, working his way up the ranks from Branch Assistant to Assistant Manager and now Branch Manager. The Coconut Grove team all have strong backgrounds in the plumbing industry, so you can be sure they have the know-how to help you solve any plumbing issue.
Boasting a large 98 square metre showroom, generous onsite parking and convenient location at 8 Osgood South Road, the Coconut Grove branch will service both tradies and homeowners. The showroom provides a comprehensive range of bathroom, kitchen and laundry fixtures from trusted brands including Raymor, Caroma, Hansgrohe, Marquis, Phoenix, Abey and Clark.
