“Feedback shows that plumbers prefer not to travel more than 15 minutes from a job to get parts, so we want to make sure that no matter where our customers are working, there is a Tradelink branch nearby,” said Tradelink’s General Manager, Alan Ball.
Morningside was selected to improve travel times for customers and for its proximity to residential development projects and refurbishment and maintenance areas.
“There’s a good mix of medium-density construction in the Morningside/Balmoral/Bulimba area and plenty of plumbers servicing the renovation and maintenance markets. We saw this as an opportunity to fill a gap in our network and support the local trade community.
“Morningside is the third new branch we’ve opened in the Brisbane region in as many months, with another new branch at Mansfield opening for trade later this month.”
Having worked in the plumbing supplies industry for more than 20 years, including four years managing Tradelink branches at Bowen Hills and South Brisbane, Branch Manager, David Maloney and his team are knowledgeable and experienced.
“Dave’s been in the game for years, so plumbers can be assured they’ll be speaking to someone who has the know-how to help tackle any plumbing problem,” said Tradelink’s General Manager Operations, Tim Broxham.
